I had the opportunity to review Halo, Purely for Pets food for cats and dogs. Halo pet food is all-natural products with ingredients to give our pets/children a happier and healthy life and ultimately gives our pets life of longevity. I have had my cat Halo for three years and I never really thought about what my cat was eating. I assumed since it was made for a cat then it was healthy and didn’t question it, only to find out that it wasn’t truly healthy for her. We are now officially dog owners. That being said, I wasn’t sure where to start as in what feed him. We got Zeus at eight weeks old for my sons eleventh birthday. Not only is he my son’s new best-friend but, the whole family’s as well and he will soon serve as a service dog. I found it amazing how fast we become attached to our pets and they some how become our children. Then it struck me what are my pets eating? Halo, Purely for Pets generously provided me a bag of indoor cat formula and a bag of puppy formula plus, a bottle of VitaGlo for the perfect dream coat and healthy skin. Now Zeus has had a dandruff problem since we had gotten him the VitaGlo has helped tremendously and has a blend of pure oils that supply all the essential omega fatty acids needed to support a full, shiny coat, smooth skin and their health. Just mix the proper amount in with their food and that’s it! Zeus really enjoyed his food and the bag lasted us six days . Halo does not eat as much as Zeus of course so hers may last about three weeks. I feel happy knowing there is a pet food that uses only real meat products. Their chickens, turkeys, lambs, and fish are completely real and are not adulterated with chicken meal or animal by-products. While using farm fresh fruits, veggies and grains in their foods as well.
