THREE WAYS TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time
(“EST”) on April 20, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on May 31, 2012 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
1) Online – Eligible Entrants can enter the Sweepstakes online by visiting
www.samsclub.com/backyardsweeps (the “Website”). At the Website, Entrants will be
instructed to complete the Sweepstakes registration form. Each Entrant must submit their
first name, last name, mailing address, city, state, zip, birthdate, phone number, and email
address. Each properly completed registration form will generate one (1) Sweepstakes entry.
In addition, each Entrant will have the opportunity to earn one (1) additional Sweepstakes
entry by clicking the “opt-in” box to receive future Sam’s Club SMS notifications.
2) By Phone – Eligible Entrants that have smartphone capabilities can enter the Sweepstakes
via their personal mobile device by visiting www.samsclub.com/backyardsweeps (the
“Website”), and completing the aforementioned Sweepstakes registration form. Standard
data rates may apply. Entrants are encouraged to check their mobile plan for details and
consult their wireless-service provider regarding pricing plans. Standard data terms and
conditions apply.
3) Mail-in Card – Entrants can handwrite their full name, complete mailing address, daytime
phone number, and email address on a 3” x 5” card and mail it to: Sam’s Club Outdoor
Living Sweepstakes, 90 Rockwood Place, Rochester, NY 14610. All mail-in entries must be
postmarked by May 31, 2012, and received by June 4, 2012. The postmark date will be the
entry date. Each valid mail-in entry received will count as two (2) Sweepstakes entries.
Mechanical reproductions will be void. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to
be proof of receipt by Sponsor.
There is a maximum of two (2) entries per person/email address during the Sweepstakes Period,
regardless of method of entry. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be
acknowledged or returned.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing
from among all eligible entries received by the Administrator whose decisions are final and binding. The
Grand Prize drawing will be conducted on or about June 10, 2012. Odds of winning will depend on the
total number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The Grand Prize Winner
will be contacted by telephone (a message will not be left) and/or by email. If a potential Grand Prize
Winner cannot be contacted within three business (3) days after the first attempt to contact him/her, the
Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining entries.
GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded following the conclusion of the
Sweepstakes Period. The Grand Prize Winner, upon confirmation of eligibility, will receive a $5,000.00
Sam’s Club Outdoor Living shopping spree on qualifying outdoor products. In addition to the shopping
spree, the Grand Prize winner will receive a Sam’s Club membership (if he or she is not already a Sam’s
Club member), or a Sam’s Club renewal membership (if he or she is already a Sam’s Club member).
The value of the membership or renewal membership is $40. The Grand Prize package has an
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $5,040.00.

PRIZE CONDITIONS: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release to be returned within seven (7) business days of written notification, or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. In Sponsor’s sole discretion, if a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, if the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to return requisite document within the specified time period, or if the potential Grand Prize Winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected for the prize at issue. The GrandPrize of a $5,000 Sam’s Club Shopping Spree credit is limited to qualifying outdoor products, as determined by the Sponsor in their sole discretion and is further limited to a one day shopping spree, at a Sam’s Club determined by Sponsor, with no rain checks or money back. All qualifying outdoor products are subject to availability and shall not include food, beverages, consumables, health and wellness items and electronics. Delivery cost is not included in the value of any product. Prizes may be reported as income to the Grand Prize Winner and the Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes associated with the receipt of a prize. The Sponsor reserve the right in its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize (or any component thereof) is not available as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. TRAVEL AND ALL EXPENSES OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE NOT MENTIONED HEREIN ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBLITIY OF THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER. GRAND PRIZE WINNER WILL NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER PRIZE PACKAGE. ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STATED APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE OF ANY PRIZE AND THE ACTUAL VALUE OF SUCH PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED. ANY UNCLAIMED PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED.
