It’s par for the course from Adkins, whose trademark baritone has powered countless hits and sold over 10 million albums, cumulatively. The hit list includes “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” “Songs About Me,” “Every Light In The House,” “Hillbilly Bone” (Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins), and “Just Fishin’,” to name a few. Dierks Bentley

About the artist

A decade into an already acclaimed career, Dierks Bentley hit a high point with 2014’s Riser. The album was a critical and commercial home run, sending three consecutive singles to Number One while rounding up an armful of Grammy, ACM, and CMA Award nominations. For Bentley — a songwriter who’d spent the past 11 years exploring the heartfelt highs of modern country, the depths of traditional music, the twang of bluegrass and everything in between — Riser was further proof that his fans were happy to follow him wherever he wanted to go. The journey continues with Black. Bentley calls it “a dark, mysterious, after-hours kind of record,” filled with songs that take a look at the way romance and relationships evolve over time. Black is a 13-track album of breakups, hookups, and mess-ups that has been masterfully sequenced to tell its story. And although the slow-smoked gravel of Bentley’s voice keeps him rooted in country music, he also pushes far beyond the boundaries of the Bible Belt.

Chingy

About the artist

Howard Bailey Jr., better known by his stage name Chingy, is an American rapper, singer, producer, and actor. Chingy grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and began rapping in his late teens. He toured as an opening act with Nelly in the summer of 2002 and then became a protégé of Ludacris, who signed him to his newly formed Disturbing Tha Peace record label. The rapper’s 2003 summer debut single, “Right Thurr”, put him on the musical map as a good-time rapper who specialized in catchy, club-friendly beats and simplistic lyrics delivered in a sing-song, nursery rhyme style. Chingy’s 2003 debut album, Jackpot, sold two million copies, thanks to the boost from “Right Thurr”. A second album, Powerballin’, was released in 2004 to mixed reviews, and his 2006 release Hoodstar spawned the hit singles “Pullin’ Me Back” and “Dem Jeans.” He released Hate It or Love It in 2007, under DTP records. The album’s lead single is “Fly Like Me”, featuring Amerie. A studio album entitled Success & Failure was released in 2010. In 2018, he made his official debut as a record producer which he produced his own latest single “Sparks Fly” which was debuted on July 4, 2018.

Thirty Seconds to Mars

About the artist

Thirty Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of brothers Jared Leto and Shannon Leto. During the course of its existence, it has undergone various line-up changes. The band’s debut album, 30 Seconds to Mars, was produced by Bob Ezrin and released to positive reviews but only to limited commercial success. The band achieved worldwide fame with the release of its second album A Beautiful Lie, which received multiple certifications all over the world. Its next release, This Is War, showed a dramatic evolution in the band’s musical style, as it incorporated experimental music as well as eclectic influences. The recording process of the album was marked by a legal dispute with record label EMI that eventually became the subject of the documentary film Artifact. Thirty Seconds to Mars then moved to Universal Music and released the fourth album, Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, to critical and commercial success. It was followed by America, which polarized critics upon release. As of September 2014, the band had sold over 15 million albums worldwide.
