The world is moving too fast and when it comes to our childrens education in school, they are moving even faster.
When I was in school I had to use a pencil or pen to write my name and use cursive from time to time. When you needed to look up a word you pulled out a book called the dictionary. Teachers wrote on a chalkboards and when you were sent home with homework it was on paper! Don’t get me wrong I love my technology and I am grateful for all the neat things we have but, when it comes to our kids I wish schools would start off the way we did.
Now they are teaching Spanish in first and second grade and not using pencils but tablets to do there research this kids are getting smart and becoming tech savvy. I want my children to learn the old fashion way first and learn to actually right their names instead of typing it. Soon there will be no paperback books it will all be tablets!
I seen this Infographic and it got me thinking WOW we are moving to fast and if you don’t learn all this technology you will fall behind and it maybe harder for older students/parents to adapt to such a big change.
