About the artist:
Polly Scattergood first came to light as a graduate of the coveted Brit School, yet the style of her self-titled debut was far from the conventional pop music the school is known for. Three years since her first release in 2009, her sophomore record Arrows draws on her experimental, electronic influences and combines them with lush textures and her dynamic vocals. Recorded with father-son production duo Ken and Jolyon Thomas (M83, Sigur Rós, Daughter), the album expresses both the epic soundscapes and intimacy of Scattergood’s sound perfectly.
