Violet Hill

Coldplay set out to shake an almost-too-polite reputation with 2008’s Brian Eno-produced album Viva la Vida, and songs like “Violet Hill” go a long way towards finding a fresh pulse in the band’s epically gentle arena rock. A carefully sinister funk strut and dissonant guitar fuzz propel the track, and when they drop out for a coda of only piano and Chris Martin’s plaintive vocals, the band’s old soft touch feels newly powerful by contrast.

They will ask for Credit card information through Google Play but,  it is 100% completely FREE and you will not be charged unless you purchase a song a retail price!
