If the California Office of Tourism hasn’t already snatched up the title track of L.A. garage pop duo Best Coast’s recent album The Only Place, maybe this live version on Santa Monica’s public radio station KCRW will seal it: a little extra fuzz rumbles under the clean, jangly guitar melody, while Bethany Cosentino extols the virtues of sun, fun and the Golden State above all else.
