The DOLE Monday Funday Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age as of date of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and all U.S. territories and possessions. Employees, officers, directors of Dole Fresh Fruit Company (“Sponsor”), Vertical Marketing Network LLC (“Administrator”) and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) and those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
The DOLE Monday Funday Sweepstakes will take place on Monday of every week starting March 12, 2012 and ending June 11, 2012 (“Promotional Period”). Entries will be accepted beginning on or about 12:00 a.m. (midnight) PT on Monday and ending at 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday. Sweepstakes entries will not be accepted on any day of the week other than a Monday.
2. PRIZES (70 total prizes during Promotional Period. 5 winners per weekly drawing)
Each winner to receive twenty-six (26) coupons, each redeemable for $2.00 worth of DOLE Bananas. If purchase price of DOLE Bananas exceeds $2.00, winner will be solely responsible for the difference in price. Total prize value for each winner valued at $52.00. Each coupon must be used separately. Coupon subject to additional terms/conditions stated thereon. Redeemable at retail stores selling DOLE Bananas. Total value of all prizes $3,640.
3. HOW TO ENTER/WINNER DETERMINATION
Enter by completing the Sweepstakes entry form at www.facebook.com/DOLEBananas. Submit your completed entry (name, home address, city, state, zip code, age, email and sex) and answer the question correctly, and then click the “Submit” button. Question will be in either multiple choice or TRUE/FALSE format. If you participated in a previous DOLE Monday Funday Sweepstakes, to be eligible for a prize in this Sweepstakes, you must enter again.
Any other attempted form of online entry is void and will not be accepted. Entrant must be the registered and authorized account holder of the e-mail account through which the entry is made. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. In the event of a dispute as to ownership of an entry, entrant may be required to provide proof of ownership of the e-mail account used to enter the Sweepstakes. Entry may not be made by proxy or automated means such as by script, bot, macro or any other similar software or program.
Limit one (1) entry per person or email address per weekly drawing. If more than one (1) entry is received from the same person or email address for a given weekly drawing, Sponsor will accept only the first entry received and will void all such additional entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
Non-winning entries from one drawing will not be retained for subsequent drawings. Limit one prize per person/e-mail address. No substitution, transfer or assignment of any prize permitted. But, if advertised prize is unavailable for any reason, Sponsor may substitute another prize of equal value. Winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes and unspecified expenses in conjunction with acceptance/use of prize. Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for the delivery of prize.
Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each weekly drawing.
Participation in Sweepstakes constitutes permission from Entrant for Sponsor and its agencies to use Entrant’s name (first and last), voice, likeness and/or other indicia of persona without notice or compensation for purposes of advertising and trade, unless prohibited by law. Further, participation includes the right to post Winner’s first name, last initial and city and state of residence on the DOLE Bananas web site or DOLE Bananas Facebook page, unless prohibited by law.
4. INTERNET
Sponsor’s computer will be the official clock for the Sweepstakes. Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective advertising, promotion or production agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telecommunications malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate (including but not limited to defects/errors/malfunctions), or by any error which may occur in the entry process or the Sweepstakes. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parent companies are not responsible for electronic communications/emails not received due to email filtering, virus protection or other protective devices/apparatus or any other cause.
